Each post have a level 2 heading at the top followed by the message, then a list of links with keywords relating to the message and then a link with the word “comment” in it.

To make a comment, click on the link with the word “comment” iin it, which would take you to a page with four fields:

1. name

2. email address

3. website address if applicable

4. comment

then you click on

submit and your comment will be placed in a moderation queue and I will approve it.

When approve it will go onto the site.

If you have a wordpress account or blog let me know so I can add you to the contributor’s list

Blindness and technology

“With all the talk of Bionic eyes, gene therapy for sight restoration and all
the other high technology that regularly crosses these pages, it is worth
remembering that in developing countries only about 10% of blind children
have access to any writing tools at all or to education. In developed “rich”
countries like Australia and America the vast majority of blind children
still only have access to a writing tool from 1950 (the Perkins).

I am a very strong proponent of technology but sometimes I think we forget
which battles need fighting.”
